More Young Adults Give Up on Buying a Home

According to a recent article on NU.nl, more young adults are giving up on buying a home. In 2024, 52% of people aged 25 to 34 wanted to purchase a home, down from 58% in a previous survey.

The main reasons include high housing prices, limited supply, and stricter mortgage requirements. Many feel that homeownership is out of reach.

This trend highlights the challenges young buyers face in the current market.
